■ What is KaibaCorp Con 2026 and where will it be hosted?
KaibaCorp Con is a FREE, VIRTUAL, UNOFFICIAL Yu-Gi-Oh! fan convention, by fans for fans. It will be hosted primarily on Discord and Twitch, with some events possibly happening on YouTube.■ What is a virtual convention (con) and how does it work?
A virtual convention is an online version of a convention. It’s a chance for fans to come together in virtual space. Because it’s virtual, it also provides an opportunity for fans who wouldn’t be able to attend in-person to experience a convention. A virtual convention has many of the same elements that an in-person convention would have.A virtual convention emulates activities and features of an in-person convention by providing similar structure over the internet.■ Who is this con for?
This con is for fans of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, be they fans of the anime (DM, GX, 5D’s, Zexal, ARC-V, VRAINS, Sevens, Go Rush, or The Card Game Chronicles), movies, manga, trading card games and formats (TCG, OCG, Rush Duel, Speed Duel, Master Duel, GENESYS, etc.), and other related media.■ How much does it cost to attend?KaibaCorp Con 2026 is FREE for all guests and attendees.■ When will the con be held?KaibaCorp Con will be held on October 25, 2026 from 9 AM to 7 PM Pacific, 12 PM to 10 PM Eastern, and 4 PM to 1 AM UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). Stated times are subject to change.It is one (1) day event.■ May I attend if I am under the age of 18 by the date of the con?We understand that those below the age of 18 may like to attend. Those under the age of 18 are welcome to watch the main stage events and tournaments held on Twitch and/or YouTube. However, as Discord has rules against minors and adults in shared private virtual space, we cannot allow any individual under the age of 18 by the con date to access to the Discord server. We apologize for any disappointment.■ When will interest checks, registration, and sign-ups first be available?We plan to launch interest checks in January 2026, and sign-ups for Artist Alley and mods in February 2026. Tournament sign-ups will be made available when determined to be best appropriate by our Master, Rush and Speed Duel chairs. Please keep an eye on con socials for more news.■ When will the con Discord server be open?We will not open the Discord server until at least September 2026. Stay tuned for news.■ Is KaibaCorp Con 2026 affiliated with Konami or any other companies that own the rights to Yu-Gi-Oh!?No! KaibaCorp Con is 100% unofficial and unauthorized, and is not affiliated with any of the companies that own the rights to Yu-Gi-Oh!. The organizers are simply fans who wish to share their love of Yu-Gi-Oh! with the world and connect other fans to the wonderful franchise we all love.■ Can I attend if I speak a language other than English?Con events and activities will be presented in English as that is the primary language of con chairs, event hosts, and invited guests, however, as long as you can abide by con rules – which are also written in English – please feel free to attend!■ Do I have to join the Discord to attend the con? Can I watch the main stage events without a Twitch / YouTube account?A Discord account is required to participate in fan panels and Artist Alley. You can watch the main stage events and streamed tournaments without a Twitch or Youtube account, however, if you wish to participate in chat you will need a Twitch and/or YouTube account. You may need additional accounts on other platforms if you plan to participate in our tournaments.■ Will there be tournaments? If so, which formats?Yes! We are planning Master, Rush, and Speed Duel format tournaments. These tournaments will be held virtually through the Master Duel and Duel Links games. If you plan to participate, you will need a Master Duel and/or Duel Links account, as well as any tournament collaboration software accounts as specified by our Master, Rush and Speed Duel chairs.More information coming soon.■ What other events and activities will there be?We will also have main stage events, an Artist Alley, fan panels, and other events to be announced in the future.■ Will there be voice actors or community guests?While we cannot guarantee the appearance of any individual, we are extending invitations to voice actors and community guests.If any invited individuals are interested in attending our convention as a guest, we will announce them between spring and summer 2026. Stay tuned to our social media accounts (@kaibacorpcon) for updates.■ Will there be meet and greets for guests?At this time, we have no plans for any meet and greets with guests.■ What will moderation be like during the con?We will have sign-ups for mods at a later date. Moderators will monitor the Discord server, Twitch/Youtube Chats, Artist Alley, TCG Tournaments, con social media, and special events.■ I understand that minors are not allowed in the Discord server, however, as an adult, may I promote my 18+ content in the server?We are not allowing 18+ content to be directly posted within the Discord server (images, video, or text). However, you are welcome to link to off-server websites where your 18+ content resides, as long as you include disclaimer text that clearly states the link is going to a webpage that contains 18+ content.This rules applies to all attendees and guests, including artists linking their portfolios and stores that contain 18+ artwork, fanfic writers linking to their AO3/Wattpad/etc where they have uploaded 18+ stories, cosplayers sharing links to where their risqué photos can be found, vtubers sharing links to where their 18+ streams can be watched, etc.We are implementing this rule for the comfort of all attendees. Thank you for understanding.■ Will any special merchandise be sold during the con?The con will not have any “official” merch or store. However, artists will sell their own items during the convention in the Artist Alley.■ Can I make derivative works (art, cosplay, music) of KaibaCorp Con assets?You may, as long as you do not make any money off of it, which includes platforms such as Patreon, Etsy, Vgen, Skeb, Kofi, and any other monetization platform.We’d love it if you'd share your derivative works with us on con socials (@kaibacorpcon).■ What does Pot of Greed do?It lets you draw two cards.+++Artist Alley, panelist, tournaments, and additional FAQs coming at a later date.
